This Event is Now Cancelled

Sadly due to reasons beyond our control we have had to cancel this event on the 7 May 2023.

Go the Extra Mile for those needing crisis support

Join us on a fundraising walk and ride from Bucklers Hard to Beaulieu and back again to help people in the New Forest cope with the cost of living crisis.

We are asking you to help us help people living in the New Forest in desperate need of support. The much-needed support we give includes referrals to food banks and applications for emergency charitable grants. We are asking you to participate in a fundraising walk and help support our vital work. Today we face unprecedented demands for our services, please help us to continue our work.

Join us on the walk, skip, ride or roll!

To help fundraise for us you can choose to walk, skip, ride, or roll 5 miles as part of our fundraising event, starting at 10 am on Sunday, May 7th, 2023. The beautiful 5-mile route will follow the river from Buckler’s Hard in the New Forest to Beaulieu and back.

We need all of us who live in the New Forest area to pull together during this cost-of-living crisis. Many families, neighbours, young and older people in our community need our help. The cost-of-living crisis is having a devastating impact on lives. Many more people are finding themselves in dire need of our advice and support. It is stressful, isolating, and frightening to find yourself in that position. Here at Citizens Advice New Forest we are working flat out to help people find a way forward however as a charity our services are already stretched.

We urgently need your help and support. Please join us on a lovely walk to help us raise funds for our crucial work everyone is welcome to join in and go the extra mile. This walk is a great opportunity to come and support our work and our communities here in the New Forest.
