New Forest Basics Bank

New Forest Basics Bank is an independent food bank based in Lymington, supporting local households in need.

Totton Basics Bank

Basics Bank operates from Testwood Baptist Church and provides emergency food for households in crisis.

Ringwood Food Bank




Ringwood Food Bank is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust.

Waterside Food Bank




Waterside Food Bank is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust.

Please note that the food banks listed above require a referral before you can use their services.
If you’re struggling and need support, call us on 0808 278 7860 and we can talk through your situation and help arrange a referral where appropriate.

food larders

There are 11 weekly FareShare food larders across the New Forest.

Membership is free, and for a small weekly fee you can get up to 25 food items. Find details below or contact us to find out full details of all locations and opening times.

Community Fridges

There are 2 Community Fridges located in Ringwood and Fordingbridge.

These don’t need a referral and are free. Find out more below

food rescue kitchen

The Food Rescue Kitchen is based at New Forest Basics Bank.

They rescue surplus ‘waste’ food and redistribute or transform this into meals to give to those struggling to put food on the table.

Trussell Financial Inclusion Project

Trussell has food banks across Ringwood, Fordingbridge, Verwood, and Waterside – and they’ve teamed up with Citizens Advice New Forest to offer extra help to regular food bank users.
