Citizens Advice New Forest is a local independent charity providing free and confidential advice to help people solve the difficulties they face.
Our service has never been more in need so we are seeking committed and dedicated individuals who can join our team.

Projects Manager
Location: Lymington, with some travel across the New Forest area
Pay: £30,000 (FTE)
Hours: Part-time 21 Hours per week
Closing Date: Friday 13th March 2026
Are you passionate about making a difference in your community?
Do you have the skills and experience to lead multiple funded projects, manage teams effectively, and ensure high‑quality service delivery that meets funder requirements and organisational standards? If so, Citizens Advice New Forest has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as our Projects Manager.
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong project and service delivery leadership — able to oversee multiple funded projects, meet KPIs/quality standards, manage risks, complete monitoring/reporting and ensure smooth cross-team coordination.
- People management capability — experienced in supervising teams, managing performance, supporting development, leading recruitment/induction and creating a positive, inclusive working environment.
- Relationship-building and stakeholder management — confident in maintaining productive relationships with funders, partners, internal teams, and trustees.
- Business development mindset — able to spot emerging needs, support new initiatives/pilots and contribute to funding bids and contract renewals.
- Strategic, organised and analytical — able to plan workloads, make decisions, communicate effectively, produce clear briefings, use data to identify trends and work independently with good judgement.
Knowledge of the Citizens Advice network is desirable but it’s not essential – we value relevant experience and a commitment to making a difference.

Advice Locality Manager – East New Forest (Part-Time)
Location: Totton and surrounding area, New Forest
Salary: £28,000 (FTE) with salary review on successful completion of probation
Contract type & hours: Permanent, Part-time (24 hours per week)

We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in managing an advice service or a similar operational environment.
- Confident in working with quality frameworks, ensuring standards are consistently met and promptly addressing any areas of non‑compliance.
- An experienced people manager with the ability to inspire, support and motivate teams.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with excellent organisational skills.
- Strong experience in community outreach and developing effective partnerships.
