Organisational Development Administrator
Location: Lymington Town Hall
Contract Type & Hours: Permanent, Part-time (21 hours per week)
Salary: £14,728 (£26,300 FTE)

Citizens Advice New Forest (CANF) is looking for an organised and proactive Administrator to provide essential support across training, volunteering and organisational activities. The role involves coordinating staff and volunteer training, maintaining accurate records and assisting with volunteer recruitment, induction and ongoing engagement to ensure a positive and well‑supported experience for all.
You will also play a key role in supporting events, meetings and governance activities. Coordinating committee meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and maintaining accurate records. You’ll provide general office administration and offer cover for the Company Secretary when required, helping to ensure the organisation runs smoothly and efficiently day to day. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working collaboratively and supporting people at all levels of an organisation.

Debt Adviser
Location: Remote, hybrid or any Citizens Advice New Forest office
Pay: £26,300 FTE (£9,819 pro rata). Salary review on successful completion of probation.
Hours: Part-time 14 hours per week

Would you like to help people experiencing profound difficulties in managing their financial problems?
Citizens Advice has an exciting opportunity for a Debt Adviser to join its debt advice team. The role will support clients living across the New Forest who are struggling to manage their debt and will be part of a team of Advisers. This project, which is funded through the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), has been created to meet the increased demand as people deal with the cost of living crisis with the objectives of improving their debt situation and their mental wellbeing.
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Passionate about helping people across the New Forest struggling with debt;
- A good listener, able to understand an individual’s needs and come up with solutions that will help them get to grips with their finances;
- A great communicator, full of empathy and able to work with people struggling with their current situation;
- A self-starter with a can-do attitude.
Knowledge of the Citizens Advice network is desirable but it’s not essential – we value relevant experience and a commitment to making a difference.
